DWH/PBI Fashion Solution

The solution allows to implement a single integrated environment for data collection from all available sources, and in any format, in order to feed a centralized, coherent and certified Data Warehouse to support the analysis and reporting processes in the main Wholesale and Retail areas.

PowerBI semantic models are mapped onto the Data Warehouse system, used by users to build analyses and reports in a simple and immediate way, using the metrics and dimensions in which the single Data Mart is organised.
In particular:

  • SKU (up to the colour and size level), aggregated by Brand/Line

  • Channel (Online, Brick and Mortar, Marketplace, etc.)

  • Supplier

  • Season

The main KPIs are all pre-calculated, thus making operations within the Business Intelligence system extremely easy. In the context of the Retail Data Mart in particular:

  • Sell Out (Marginality on PMP and/or Wholesale Price List, Mark Down/Full Price, People Count, Incidence of Turnover/Mq, Average Receipt)

  • Sell In (Ordered, Delivered, End of Season Returns)

  • Sell Through Calculation

  • L4L Analysis

  • Stock

  • Exchange Rate Effects (analysis at constant exchange rates)

  • Customer Analysis (Loyalty, Class Spending, Class Frequency, Customer Age)

  • Budget and Variance Analysis

In the context of Wholesale analyses, aimed at monitoring the sales campaign for the single season, the following are highlighted:

  • Sales Campaign Budget by Season/Line/Customer

  • Trend Analysis (Pre-Orders, Orders, Shipments, Turnover)

  • Comparisons with previous and corresponding seasons (PE25 vs PE24 or AI24)
